Romney Nomination Equals Obama Reelection and a Third World America
By Joseph Andrew Settanni
Why do some people think that the Republican nomination of Mitt Romney for President will mean the predictable reelection of Obama and, therefore, the transformation into the future beginnings of this nation into then becoming, in the next few decades, the foundational start of a Third World kind of country?
The majority of the conservative base, meaning the hard-core right, of the Republican Party will do as they did for John McCain in 2008; no votes, by them, to be cast for a moderate-to-liberal nominee such as is, in fact, Romney; additionally, of course, the majority of the Tea Party Movement people simply cannot cast a ballot for someone who obviously repudiates totally the entire spirit of their movement, besides his liberal and leftist stands upon a wide variety of issues.
He sincerely wants, by and large, to only help manage Big Government; they want to see it destroyed; no real middle ground, therefore, actually exists in this important matter. Most of them are, thus, quite far from being pro-Romney, as ought to be easily guessed. What is the political problem?
A manifestly centrist, middle-of-the-road, Romney is, definitely, the utterly snide offering of a kind of “Obama light” version, meaning a dumb, Lewis Carroll/Alice in Wonderland “choice” between Tweedle-dee-dee and Tweedle-dee-dum. The (inevitably laughed at) voters, as per usual, are being held in cold contempt.
Later Consequences of the Romney Nomination
The party hierarchy certainly knows this rather blatant fact; they know McCain lost, Dole lost, Ford lost; George H. W. Bush had so deservedly lost his pitiful reelection effort; all ran as moderate-to-liberal Republicans, strongly favored by most neoconservatives. Why is Romney, meaning the 2012 version of McCain, however, clearly so doomed to inevitable defeat? Axiomatic American Political Law: Whenever the voters are given the dumb choice between a Democrat versus a Republican running as a Democrat, they always, without exception, elect the (genuine) Democrat. Q. E. D.
The political strategy of the party hierarchy, for those with a profound knowledge of the domestic political history of at least the last 80 years, is easy to perceive. They want the Republicans to have the dubious “honor” of more fully making the ongoing transition into a full-fledged social-market/collectivist economy in America. Why, ask the incredulous, would they wish do this thing? A perverse propensity may exist to oddly grasp defeat from the jaws of victory.
Because they are, in fact, rightwing socialists who, logically, have much more politically and otherwise in common with the leftwing socialists of the Democrat Party than they will ever have with any political conservatives. The American welfare-warfare State was, in fact, not built solely by one political party. It takes, though prosaic to say so, two to tango.
It should not be stupidly forgotten how the Republicans are able, time and again, to come up with the ways and means, the managerial efforts, needed for sustaining and holding on to the collectivist gains of the New Deal; equally, most of their leadership, directly and indirectly, had eagerly assisted LBJ with the implementation of the Great Society that was, moreover, ably reinvigorated by, e. g. Richard Nixon, a liberal Republican, though often never recognized as having been such.
Both George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush, of course, had enthusiastically forwarded the cause of the welfare-warfare State; they are, of course, neoconservatives, especially the son. The party hierarchy, without any doubt, genuinely supports Big Government as being the only proper way to go. And, the Iron Triangle, meaning Big Government, Big Business and Big Labor, are definitely united on the power-related need to maintain this highly bureaucratized statism, regulatory and interventionist tyranny in this country, at all costs. There should be, furthermore, no rational doubt about this political reality. But, what will happen?
Romney, in the general election, will be sacrificed to give the victory to Obama in that it is expected that the US Congress, by the 2012 event, will be filled with Republican majorities, most of which will come to, thus, better assist Obama in his collectivist machinations and designs; these are, of course, set firmly against social civil liberty and the free-market economy, as ought to be simply expected based upon his radical-Marxist ideological preferences.
It is a “splendidly conceived” Machiavellian plan, quite so worthy of political scoundrels and fiends, rascals and villains, who do greatly enjoy playing these kinds of contemptible con games on the abused electorate. And, what is, thus, certainly coming down the road as an unfortunate consequence of this projected and preplanned debacle?
Political Patterns are Discernable
The foreseeable degradation of the basic socioeconomic realities of the USA, meaning for the vast majority of its people, will take several generations to fully occur; but, all of its essential features, not just in outline, will be easily perceptible and comprehensible when empirically and historically compared to the affluence of earlier generations.
It is only a clever matter of “boiling the frog slowly,” through incremental Fabian Socialism, by which the US Constitution is set aside by “creatively” interpreting it as a living, breathing document; it is said to be capable of protean flexibility to the nth degree; it will be, more and more, pronounced to be, in practice if not in theory, a manifestly evolutionary charter with simply infinite plasticity for legalizing the then continuing collectivism in progress.
This will have, of course, many highly serious consequences. What, however, is more precisely meant? The major bulk of what had been, e. g., the American middle class will then be substantially reduced, greatly shrunken, into functional insignificance as to any socioeconomic and political reality qua entity. The standard of living will, over time, be continually reduced, while the cost of living, meaning as to what people used to think of as merely middle-class minimums for an American way of life will vanish.
Soon enough, to the uninformed or ignorant/propagandized rising generations, it will just become, more and more, a seemingly mythic past, when most people might have then, supposedly, lived much better, according to the crescively hoary stories of the old folks.
A socialist economy, a glorified social-market economy, will steadily eviscerate and, eventually, destroy the basics of any free-market economy’s vital existence; a so-called black market (aka alternate free market/underground economy) will replace how things get done for the common people who will struggle with increased shortages, inferior goods and services, increasingly bloated Federal and State bureaucracies, ever decreased life expectations for their children and grandchildren, illegal aliens increasingly taking the jobs of Americans, etc.
It will then become, naturally, Obama’s kind of country substantially bereft of hope with a socially and culturally crushed people degraded and debased, and, moreover, seeing no genuine future ever worth hoping for, much less living for its then only ugly fruition. No socialist/communist Utopia will arrive, of course, only an expected dystopia can so occur, in terms of human realities, in this degenerate nation.
[And, for instance, all those who had denounced the John Birch Society, thirty and more years ago, as just composed of ignorant cranks, crackpots, weirdoes, etc., will then be made to see the absolute error of such vapid denunciations and condemnations.] Most people will, over the course of time, look to the government as being their main provider, directly or indirectly, for what may seem, to all intents and purposes, a mere subsistence or slightly better existence for the then essentially impoverished masses.
The wealthy upper-class strata, however, will functionally align itself with the power-that-be to, thus, keep and secure their status; the first interim transition will, therefore, be to a Second World/Latin American style nation in two generations; the next two to three generations will, consequently, realize the final transition into a fundamentally Third World nation. What will the here readily foreseen outcome be for (what had been) the American society?
Conclusion
About 80% to 90% of the populace, the majority proletarians, will be at or basically near the general bottom of the heap; yet, approximately, 5% will be the superrich/wealthy; and, the vilely degenerate governing/ruling/political class will then, of course, constitute any remaining (less than) 5%, as to those who will, as with any communist party-style apparatus, benefit enormously from the New Order, along with their upper-class strata allies.
Thus, the applauded revolutionism of the Left is, in practice, always necessarily reactionary as to its then only practical application, which is, as ought to be historically perceived, being of the very nature of all progressivist ideology. Free government, as with the early American Republic, is a historical aberration, an abnormality; one can instructively read, in recorded history, that autocracy or degrees of tyranny, in contrast, has been and will be the norm.
This is just as sin (secularly denominated as imperfection) then forces man, again and again, to repeat the harsh follies of history; and so, every age and generation has witnessed Caesarism (Napoleon, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Castro, etc.), in one form or another. And, the wages of sin is death.
It will be, finally, the kind of brutalized and abhorrent country that the American Left has, in their satanic visions, dreamed about for over 100 years, though, as usual, they will just deny that it was ever their intention. This horrible condition then lasts, for at least another 50 to 100 years, until the spark of revolution is ignited. But, before and after, it will never again, of course, be the same America as prior to Obama. Men and nations, confederacies and empires, do rise and fall. This will be, however, the greatest test of the Whig Theory related to the mythic doctrine of American exceptionalism, of a purported national destiny favoring a natural greatness that can never possibly fail.
All that is truly necessary for the asserted fulfillment of this aforementioned nightmarish scenario is, however, the politically and historically fatal, the constitutionally lethal, nomination of Mitt Romney by the Republican Party. Time will tell.
God save the Republic!
